About

I am a father of two (soon to be four!), husband, U.S. Airman and journalist who believes that nothing is more important than people and meaningful connections.

I'm currently a full-time journalism student (4.0 GPA) at Youngstown State University and a part-time Public Affairs specialist in the Air Force Reserves, with six years of active duty experience. My military experience has led to a passion for personal growth and leadership. I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and continue to work on developing my multimedia journalism. I hope to one day run my own media company.

I have an insatiable curiosity about almost everything, which allows me to make unexpected connections across various subjects and disciplines. For this reason, I'm as adept at synthesis (putting ideas together) as analysis (taking them apart). I believe this is one of my greatest strengths.

In true military fashion, I live my life in acronyms, both in my routine, WREST, and in my values, PAGE. WREST stands for write, read, exercise, sleep and think, five things I try to do each day to "seize the day." PAGE represents my core values of perspective, awareness, growth and excellence.
